Happy Anniversary, Mr. President!
Today is the third anniversary of President Obama telling Matt Lauer on the Today show:
"I will be held accountable. You know, I've got four years. ... A year from now, I think people are gonna see that we're starting to make some progress, but there's still gonna be some pain out there. If I don't this done in THREE years, then there's gonna be a one-term proposition." (emphasis added)
So how are Obama's policies working out? How have they harmed America? William Gensert summed up a lot of the wounds Obama has inflicted on America in yesterday's American Thinker column, "Obama's Dismal Job Performance." Here is a chart that graphically illustrates the slide that Obama has pushed America down.
So Happy Anniversary, Mr. President! We know, because you told us so, that you never need an excuse to have a good party, though it would be understandable if you took a pass on having yet another lavish and luxurious party at taxpayer expense.
