Majority of our Pakistani Allies Grieve for Bin Laden, and Plurality See Him as a Martyr for Jihad

The Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. "Gallup Pakistan," and the Gilani Foundation polled a representative sample of 2,530 men and women in the rural and urban areas comprising a cross-section of various education, income, age and linguistic backgrounds. The majority (51%) of our surveyed Pakistani allies grieved for Osama Bin Laden, and a plurality (44%) viewed the mass murdering jihad terrorist as a jihad martyr, or "shahid."

Islam's prophet Muhammad makes plain why the appellation "shahid" -- martyr -- is the creed's greatest honor in this canonical hadith (Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 54): "By Him in Whose Hands my life is! I would love to be martyred in Allah's Cause and then get resurrected and then get martyred, and then get resurrected again and then get martyred and then get resurrected again and then get martyred."

Below are pie charts which depict these telling data that demonstrate once again why Pakistan is not a US ally
