Medicaid for non-American non-immigrants?
Liberals just love spending tax money taken from you, and call it "compassion." The latest example is a proposal by Hawaii Congresswoman Mazie Hirono to add Medicaid coverage for Pacific Islanders whose nations voluntarily made the decision to sever ties with the United States, and which are now linked to us in a relationship called "free association."
These citizens of Micronesia, the Marshall Islands, and Palau are allowed to enter the United States without a visa, and many have settled in this country, without going through immigration procedures.
Rep. Hirono now wants them to qualify for Medicaid reimbursement for medical care.
In the face of crippling deficits enslaving future generations of Americans to high taxes, such generosity with taxpayers' money is beyond ridiculous.
