Arnold endorses Crist

Sorry if this offends anyone, but in what amounts to a bi-coastal tragic-comedy, failed progressive governor, Charlie Crist, has been endorsed by failed progressive governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, doubtless influencing at least two people in Tallahassee's vote. Tweeting from California, the Windmill State, Schwarzenegger said:

I endorse Governor Charlie Crist for Senate. Great leader, works with both parties, and our country needs someone like him in D.C. right now.

Crist in return said:

Governor Schwarzenegger has led California through extraordinarily difficult times in a bipartisan way. We have worked together on such crucial issues as reducing climate change and promoting alternative energy. I'm honored to have the support of this independent leader.

Inspiring, huh? Only a rudderless man like Schwarzenegger can look at a peer (Crist) for whom political expediency determines "principle" and label him a "great leader." Fortunately the climate is, indeed, about to change. Lord willing, Meg Whitman will rescue California, and Crist, in retirement, will have years to hone his tan.
