Napolitano in context
Often when public figures say their embarrassing comments were "taken out of context" they are obfuscating. Law Professor and blogger Ann Althouse, puts into context Napolitano's claim that " the system has worked really very, very smoothly over the course of the past several days" with respect to the failed bombing of the NW flight to Detroit, into context (transcript and video) and Napolitano comes out looking more foolish than ever and her claim more preposterous.
Everytime a political figure claims his words were taken out of context, it would be nice if the press did what Althouse did--give us the context.
