Sen. Mitch McConnell Remains Silent on Climategate
The Senate Republican leader, Mitch McConnell, has not commented on Climategate.
A spokesperson from Senator Mitch McConnell’s (R.KY) office responded to a query from AT as to whether or not McConnell had issued a statement concerning Climategate. No press release addressing the issue appears on his website.
In the email response from McConnell’s press office, a spokesperson states,
“I’ve checked around and, unfortunately, we haven’t put anything out that would be helpful to you. You might try Senator Inhofe’s office.”
So, does this mean that Senate Republicans are letting Oklahoma Senator James Inhofe carry the water for GOP Senators on this issue?
