Obama really is from another planet

Maybe on his extra-terrestial home, America is indeed one of the largest Muslim countries in the world. How else can you explain his utter cluelessness on the subject?

As Rick Moran noted yesterday, President Barack Hussein Obama's (D) latest major error (which not so incidentally should give us great insight into his thinking) is

In an interview with Laura Haim on Canal Plus, a French television station, Mr. Obama noted that the United States also could be considered as "one of the largest Muslim countries in the world."

Religion Facts , a more reliable source than our president, differs.  With accurate facts, not wishful thinking. In its listing of the Top 50 Muslim Countries by percentage, the U.S. is nowhere to be seen.

Also using reliable sources, Wikipedia lists the estimated Muslim populations numerically.  And surprise! (not!) the U.S. once again doesn't crack "one of the largest"  list.  And, not so by the way, no matter what Muslim spokespeople in the U.S. puff and huff, the Muslim population of this country is estimated to be at most two million, illegal immigrants included, not the 6-7 million number  they casually throw around.

Oh, perhaps we all misunderstood and by "one of the largest," Obama meant country size?  China and Russia, which both have larger Muslim populations than the U.S., also have a larger land mass than the U.S so that couldn't be it.   Hmmm., maybe by "one of the largest" Obama was expressing a wish of his; perhaps one of his plans is to increase the Muslim population by easing immigration to this country by Muslim  Guantanamo detainees and their friends and families plus easing and encouraging Muslim immigration.

We shall soon find out.
