Yankee Sailor is the blog of a Surface Warfare Officer of 20 years standing in active duty and reserve service. He posts a thoughtful commentary on nuclear warfare doctrine in the age of terror. This question is a central issue of our times, although very few are willing to discuss it. The short essay makes a good compliment to Col Tom Snodgrass' essay today on AT.  It once again shows that the blogosphere is doing the tough work that most journalists shun, when it comes to the serious issues.
